Users want a way to force stream quality to remain at their preferred setting (e.g., source quality) when reopening streams, as it currently resets to lower quality each time.
I used to be able to do this in the past with "Twitch - Disable automatic video downscale" script for tampermonkey but it doesn't look like it's working anymore. Every time I open a stream I make sure to set the quality to source which is usually 1080p and I expect it to stay like that but the next time I open that stream again it's as if this setting is gone. My internet connection is good so I don't know why this happens. I'm not even switched to another tab. The browser I use is Librewolf (Firefox variant) and I have it setup in a more casual way not the full protection way so that couldn't be the issue. Anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix? Edit: What I mean by setting is gone is that the stream starts at a lower resolution and doesn't switch to the source one so for example I open the stream it's at 480p and I change it to 1080p (which would be source quality) and then the next time I open stream it's at 480p again as if I didn't change it before. This didn't happen before it always stayed at source quality when I opened streams.
