A user is looking for a universal design process in environmental design similar to design thinking in product design, indicating a need for a structured guide.
Background: I practice both Industrial Design and Digital Product Design (UIUX). Question: In product design, we often talk about the design thinking / double diamond / user-centered design as a *process.* These have clearly defined steps "thanks" to the famous IDEO. I wonder if there's such a universal process that exists in environmental design. P.S. I don't like the design thinking mostly because it's a business person's view of what design is and it does not actually help others appreciate design at all.
